Welcoming of Students and Chief guests Inaugural Function at Maharana Pratap Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital.
On, 15/12/2023 Maharana Pratap Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital welcomed its first batch of students with a Chandan Tilak ceremony. The event was graced by the presence of Joint Secretary Gaurav Bhadouria , Director Dr Alok Mishra , Principal Prof R.K Gupta , Chief guest Prof (Dr) V.N Tripathi Ex Director general medical education UP , Dr Nirankar Goel Divisional Ayurvedic and Unani officer ,Prof B.P Patel, Prof N.B Gupta ,Dr Manish Singh ,all Consultants , Academic teachers and all staff members.
The inaugural function began with the Dhanwantari Poojan and a prayer. This was followed by the lighting of the lamp by the respective guest, Students and
Staff then delivered the welcome address by director Alok Mishra in which he welcomed the first batch of students and their parents with chief guest to the
institution. He also highlighted the vision and mission of the institution. Next, Principal gave a brief description about institution profile of MPAMC&H, highlighting its history, achievements, academic programs and overall development of the students.
After a tea break, the interaction with parents and students began. All the staff members were present to interact with the parents and students and answer their queries. The interaction session helped the parents and students to get familiar with the institution’s staff and facilities.
Dr V.N Tripathi, chief guest, gave a brief overview of Introduction about modern medicine and other system of medicine. This session helped the students to understand the about modern medicine and other system of medicine.
The next session was conducted by Dr Nikrankar Goel about Role of ASU in Public Health and Primary health centre. Setting up of AYUSH Hospitals and Dispensaries comes under the purview of respective State.
As part of the Transitional Curriculum Activity [NCISM], a pretest was conducted for the students to assess their understanding of the subject. This activity was aimed at preparing the students for the upcoming academic year and helping them to adjust to the academic requirements of the institution
The event concluded with thank u speech by DMS Dr Manish Singh , sumptuous lunch, The event was a grand successful with Hawn and pujan left a lasting impression on the students and their parents.

The Student transitional event at Maharana Pratap Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital B.A.M.S, the program started with a session on. Uniqueness of Ayurveda/Siddha/Sowa Rigpa/Unani (ASSU) compared to other systems of Medicine by DR. ALOK MISHRA director MPAMCH. This session aimed to know detail about AYUSH (Indian system of medicine). Following this, Dr.MANISH KUMAR SINGH deputy Medical superintendent delivered a session on History, Philosophy and concepts of ASU- Introduction by eminent person it explained about detail information about the origin of Ayurveda basic principal of Ayurveda lord Dhanwantari various Ayurvedic samhita texts. The session was informative and insightful, and the students had an opportunity to clarify their doubts about the topic.
After lunch, a session on Language Vadatu Sanskrit am was taken by DR. PREETI AWASTHI this session aimed to introduce students to the basics of the Sanskrit language and its importance in Ayurveda. DR. PREETI AWASTHI covered the essential grammar rules, vocabulary, and pronunciation, and students had an opportunity to practice the language during the session. Next session was held by our guest speaker DR. MANISH SHARMA T.P.O Topic Motivational Lecture including by eminent person of ASU.
Later in the day, students took a visit to know your Campus and Department Visit by Dr. Ankit Gupta & Dr Sachin, Dr Sonali gupta. This session aimed to familiarize students with the campus and the various departments samhita siddhanth, kriya sharir, rachana sharir, opd, emergencies, interact with hospital staff, consultants in the college.
Overall, Day 2 of the Student transitional event was informative and insightful. The sessions covered a range of topics.

The third day of the transitional curriculum started with a History, Philosophy and concept of ASU introduction by Dr Manish Singh, Dr Mohan. The session was aimed to give knowledge about lord Dhanvantari, Ayurvedaavtaran and darshan shastra. The lecture was highly appreciated by the students and was a great way to start the day.
The second session of the day was on recent advances in ASU by Prof R.K Gupta and Dr Sachin Sharma. The session was highly informative for students.
Next Lecture of the day “Know Regulatory bodies & Statutory bodies and major AYUSH institutions, by Dr.Alok Mishra. The session was highly informative and provided valuable insights into the regulatory bodies and statutory bodies, major AYUSH institutions, Dr. Alok Mishra shared his information and experience in the field, which was highly admire by the students.
Fourth session of the day language (Vadatu Sanskritam) by Dr Preeti Awasthi. The session aimed to introduce students to the Sanskrit language and its importance in the field of Ayurveda.
After lunch, the session was taken by Dr.Ankit Gupta, Dr Sachin and Dr Sonali knows your institute and department visit. The students visited the MPAMC&H and Campus, where they were briefed about the various facilities available to them. They also had a chance to interact with the faculty members and ask questions about the course curriculum, infrastructure, and facilities.
In the last session of the day by eminent person of ASU Dr Sarvesh (online). The session is also highly valuable for students.
Overall, Day 3 of the Transitional Curriculum was highly informative and engaging for the students. The motivational lecture, followed by informative sessions on regulatory bodies and statutory bodies, recent advances in Ayurveda, and Sanskrit language, were highly appreciated by the students. The visit to the campus of MPAMC&H was also a great opportunity for the students to know more about the facilities and infrastructure available to them.

Then Clinical exposure by DR. MANISH SINGH. The session provides knowledge about a clinical context and relevance to basic sciences learning. It also facilitates early involvement in the healthcare environment that serves as motivation and reference point for students, leading to their growth & development in medical field. The lecture was highly appreciated by the students and was a great way to start the day.
The second session of the day was on role and impact of Physician in the society by DR. ALOK MISHRA he explained about how doctors provide comfort, empathy, and support to patients and their families during times of illness, injury, or loss.
After lunch, the session was taken by DR.SADHANA YADAV took on the topic concepts and basic of Prakriti Pareeksha how the Ayurvedic profile or unique psychosomatic temperament of an individual, encompassing his or her physical, functional and behavioural characteristics. The session was highly informative to students.
Next Lecture of the day Skills–Basic Life Support by (BLS) and First Aid by DR .ANMOL and DR.SONALI information and training was taught to students for handling better medicals emergencies.
Overall, Day 5 of the Transitional Curriculum was highly informative and engaging for the students. The motivational lecture, followed by informative session Clinical exposure, Role and impact of Physician in the society, Basics of Prakriti Pareeksha,Skills–Basic Life Support

The second session of the day started with the topic Vriksha ayurveda andMrig ayurveda by Dr.MANISH KUMAR SINGH plants for crop production known as Vrikshayurveda, a Sanskrit word¸ literally (Indian plant. science) how vriksha are traditionally practiced for centuries in India.next session of lecture topic was Professional Medical Ethics by DR.VIPUL VIKRAM and DR.VAIBHAV LADE topic explains about the reality of how The issues in medical ethics often involve life and death. Serious health issues are raised over rights of patients, informed consent, confidentiality, competence, advance directives, negligence, and many others. Ethics deals with the right choices of conduct considering all the circumstances.
After lunch, the session was taken by AMIT SAINI topic Computer skills topic explained about what all the knowledge and ability to use various digital tools and technologies to complete job tasks efficiently and effectively for students.Next Games and sports grouping

After lunch,the session topic was Time Management works planning and exercising conscious control of time spent on specific activities by DR.ALOK MISHRA. Next session topic was Biomedical Waste Management what are Steps in the management of biomedical waste include generation, accumulation, handling, storage, treatment, transport and disposal. The development and implementation of a national waste management policy can improve biomedical waste management in health facilities by DR.MANISH SINGH.

After that the next lecture was topic Understanding the role Of mentoring,,provide guidance, advice, feedback, and support to the mentee, serving variously as role model, teacher, counselor, advisor, sponsor, advocate, and ally, depending on the specific goals and objectives by DR. VIPUL VIKRAM.Next session topic was Comprehend the learning Pedagogy And the role in learning skills, Comprehend the learning Pedagogy And the role in learning skills by DR. VIVEK SINGH.
After lunch,the session topic was Understanding the process of Group learningand group dynamics,groups influence all the learnings of the individual by DR. MOHAN CHANNA. Next session topic was Understanding different methods of Self learning and collaborative,collaboration is positively influenced by self-directed learning, in that it encourages students to make personal reflections on their weaknesses and strengths, thereby involving them in decision-making processes that identify what is not working properly and what they should do to succeed. by DR.SACHIN SHARMA and DR. PALLAVI VERMA.
Overall, Day 14th day of the Transitional Curriculum was highly informative and engaging the students with various motivational lecture,followed by informative session of Understanding interPersonAL relationship in a health care team,Understanding the roleOf mentoring,Comprehend the learning Pedagogy And the role in learning skills,Understanding the process of Group learningandgroup dynamics,Understanding different methods of Self learning and collaborative etc 14th day session was successfully completed.

On the 15th day of the BAMS Batch Transitional Event at Maharana Pratap Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital, the students started field visit to various institutions related to the Ayurvedic field. The visit was led by eminent practitioners and professors including DR.Manish Kumar Singh, Dr.sadhana yadav ,Dr.sonika Pandey, dr.vipul vikram,Dr pallaviverma,DrRadhajindal,dr.N.BGupta,Dr.BPpatel,dr.PreetiAwasthi,Dr.reshma,drsachinSharma,dr.shalanitiwari,dr.mohan,dr.vaibhao.
During the visit, the students got an opportunity to visit AYUSH hospitals, dispensaries, pharmaceuticals, and other institutions. The field visit was guided by dr.Alok Kumar Mishra his aimed at providing the students exposure to various aspects of the Ayurvedic field.The session was informative and the students actively participated in the discussion, asking questions.
Overall, the 15th day of the BAMS Batch Transitional Event was a success, with the students gaining valuable insights and exposure to different aspects of the Ayurvedic fields the speakers and professors provided an engaging and informative experience for the students.
