Purification (Shodhana): Processes to detoxify and purify raw materials like mercury, sulfur, and metals.
Incineration (Marana): Converting metals and minerals into bioavailable forms like bhasmas (ashes) and pishti (powders).
Formulation (Bhaishajyakalpana): The art of preparing medicines in various forms such as tablets (vati), powders (churna), decoctions (kwath), and medicated oils (taila).
