World Environment Day Celebration- June 2026

On the occasion of World Environment Day, a plantation programme was organized on 05 June 2026 in the Herbal Garden of Maharana Pratap Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital, Ishwariganj, Kanpur.

The programme coincided with the NCISM visit to the college. Prof. S. L. Gaikwad (NCISM Visitor) blessed us with his presence for a short moment in the plantation drive and planted a sapling along with Dr Alok Mishra (Director),Dr. B. P. Patel (Principal), Dr. Kamla Yadav (HOD Anatomy), Dr. Nitin Awadhiya (HOD Physiology), Dr. Priyanka Yadav (Assistant Professor Agadtantra), Dr. Amruta Kulkarni (Assistant Professor Roga Nidan), Dr. Sandeep Jain (Panchkarma Consultant), Dr. Prashant Tiwari (Balrog Consultant), Dr. Harjeet Kaur (Consultant PTSR), and Dr. Mamta Dwivedi (Yoga Instructor). Various medicinal and herbal plants were planted to promote environmental conservation and ecological balance.

The plantation activity was successfully carried out with the support of Mr. Shivam Vishwakarma (Analytical Chemist), who contributed through photography of the event, while the college gardener provided valuable assistance in plantation work.

The programme concluded with a message to protect nature and encourage tree plantation for a greener and healthier future.
