WORLD NO TOBACCO DAY

On the occasion of World No Tobacco Day, an awareness program was organized by the Department of Agadtantra to educate students, faculty members, and the public about the harmful effects of tobacco and nicotine addiction.
The program was organized by Dr Manish Singh ( medical superintendent),Dr. Priyanka Yadav, Assistant Professor, Department of Agadtantra. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members, medical officers, nursing staff.
The program included informative speeches by Dr. Alok Mishra (Director), Dr. Manish Singh (Medical Superintendent), Dr. B. P. Patel (Principal), Dr. Sandeep Jain (Consultant, Panchakarma), and Dr. Priyanka Yadav (Assistant Professor, Department of Agadtantra).
During their addresses, the speakers highlighted the harmful effects of tobacco consumption, including its association with cancer, heart disease, respiratory disorders, and various other health complications. They also emphasized the benefits of quitting tobacco, such as improved health, enhanced quality of life, reduced risk of diseases, and increased life expectancy.
The program successfully raised awareness among participants regarding the dangers of tobacco use and motivated them to adopt a tobacco-free lifestyle. The event concluded with a collective commitment to spread awareness and contribute towards a healthier, tobacco-free society.
